Newest Update

Journal entry by Bob Prost

Hope this finds everyone doing well -- all is o.k. here, wish it would be better but the new chemotherapy that I'm on makes me feel pretty woozy, nausea and lack of energy are the biggest issues.   I'm also taking oral capecitabine tablets (10 per day) that help accelerate the action of the gemcitabine infusions that I'm receiving, and they tend to create mouth sores on the tongue and inside of the cheeks.   Pretty painful to say the least.   Diane has been really strong through all this, she's not only contending with my miserable self but she's trying to help coordinate living arrangements for her 93 year old aunt in Cincinnati, along with the sale of her home.    Her counseling business is booming, seems like she gets 3 or 4 calls a week from new clients trying to find a therapist with her credentials.   She also is working crazy hard on her doctorate program's dissertation.   Quite the wonder woman!

God bless and will try to update a bit more often, thank you for all the heartfelt messages because we really need them right now!
